Koodiyattam Lecture Demonstration - SPICMACAY






  




    




   



The Department of English, in association with SPICMACAY, conducted a lecture demonstration on Koodiyattam, the ancient Sanskrit theatre tradition of India, with a special focus on the fourfold abhinaya as described in the Natyasastra. Kalamandalam Girija, along with her students, offered the graduate and postgraduate students a glimpse into the art on 6 January 2026. The session witnessed active participation from students of other departments as well, thereby introducing the academic community to an aspect of the Indian Knowledge System.
