Peer Teaching

Peer teaching is a pedagogical strategy that enhances learning outcomes and foster a collaborative environment. It can also enhance communication skills, and build a sense of community within the department. As such peer teaching is conducted by the department at regular intervals. Postgraduate and final-year BA students, having more advanced knowledge and experience, can provide insightful guidance on literary devices, styles, and genres to their juniors. This not only reinforces their own understanding but also helps juniors grasp complex concepts more effectively. During the Covid lock down the department innovated the concept of Peerniar, peer teaching through online medium thus familiarizing the students with ICT enabled teaching methods as well.                   Peer Teaching 2024-25
