Girish Karnad, the Renaissance Man : e Requiem on 25.07.2019

 "Dialogues" paid homage to Girish Karnad (1938-2019) with a commemoration by Dr. K Usha. A visual adaptation of Karnad's play Nagamandala was presented by our MA students. It was followed by an afternoon session of Merit Fest where the NET/SET winners of the department were felicitated.

Through screenings, discussions, and workshops, Prisma invites audience to engage with films that reflect the complexities of different cultures, encouraging a deeper connection with the world around us. Whether it's through thought-provoking documentaries, vibrant narratives, or experimental works, Prisma aspires to illuminate the shared humanity that cinema can reveal.

"Dialogues" to Subdue the Lockdown through Art

"Dialogues", Literary Forum of the Department conducted an online essay writing competition as part of Reading Day. The primary intention being to engage the mind and thoughts of the students during the lockdown period, the topic "Reading, Writing and Learning - Post Covid Scenario" activated the students to think beyond the pandemic.
